deRham has been involved in real estate since 1899. The company manages more than 8,000 apartments, and each year it signs more than 2,000 new rental contracts and processes more than 50,000 invoices. While paper still plays a big role, deRham wants to digitize part of its processes so that it can work more efficiently with all its customers and partners. This is being done to reduce the environmental footprint, optimize employees’ administrative workloads and to have a more qualitative approach with customers, without losing sight of costs.
A transition plan for a digitized enterprise
To begin with, the leading document and workflow management platform OnBase by Hyland Software will be deployed within the management department. Access to electronic dossiers will allow fast and location-independent consultation. The dossiers are organized over the entire life cycle from receipt to archiving.
The deRham management service is currently supported by the ERP property management software Garaio REM, into which OnBase will be integrated.
To continue on this path of digitization, a process for validating incoming invoices will be set up, based on the OnBase solution proposed by Arcplace. This solution will be integrated with the ERP Garaio REM and the portal TAYO which supports the exchange with tenants, suppliers and owners. This means that the entire process, from the transmission of the invoice to its payment, is digital.
This will be followed by deRham's other departments to implement digital content management throughout the company.
