Arcplace goes from strength to strength

Thanks to organic growth of over 10% per year for the past decade, Arcplace now employs over 100 people. New technical solutions to help customers digitize document processes continue to drive the company forward.

The independent Swiss IT service provider has been able to pursue a steady course of development. At its three locations in Zurich, Glattbrugg and Lausanne, more than 100 experienced and dedicated employees now support medium- to large-sized companies in the digitization and automation of document-related processes. Over the last three years, the organization has improved its professionalism and scalability with the expansion of the “Operations”, “Human Resources” and “Finance & Controlling” teams. Collaboration with innovative technology partners has facilitated the ongoing development of the portfolio, whilst maintaining the strategic focus on new AI solutions in the areas of digitization, automation and archiving. The trend is moving increasingly towards cloud, managed and business process outsourcing (BPO) services.

The company's main focus continues to be on high levels of customer satisfaction. "At Arcplace, customer satisfaction clearly comes before profit," explains Robbert Spierings, CEO and founder of Arcplace. "Introducing solutions with the latest technologies that function optimally for our customers can sometimes be challenging, but we see this as our job, so we stay focused."

The future has arrived, with AI, NLP and much more

Whilst providing solutions across all sectors and industries, for several years Arcplace has also focused on the needs of companies in the real estate management industry. This experience has given rise to corresponding industry-specific solutions, such as the mandate access solution, which was developed together with VERIT Immobilien. This unique artificial intelligence (AI) solution is currently on the "Digital Top 10: Projects 2023" list and will receive its ranking at the upcoming Digital Real Estate Summit 2023.

In addition to this, financial service providers also benefit from advanced Arcplace solutions that efficiently address today's document management and content management challenges. With the recently launched KYC services, financial service providers can now automate their "Know Your Customer" processes. The manual effort required to record and review compliance-relevant information is reduced and accuracy is increased, through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP).

Where will this journey lead?

Continuous development of its existing offering for a wide range of sectors and industries remains key for Arcplace: no matter whether this is in the area of contract management, invoice processing or the legally compliant archiving of business-critical documents. The possible growth scenarios are discussed internally and together with a newly formed advisory board. Robbert Spierings is convinced: "Our offering will continue to change and the portfolio will be modified on an ongoing basis as new technologies shape our future and new opportunities continue to enter the market. We will continue to strive for organic growth, which means we will also take on more employees. However, our goal is to stay “human” in terms of size, so that we can still be a team that has fun building bridges between technologies and customer needs."
