Backup Pro / How it works
The Backup Pro software is installed on each computer that needs to be protected. Whenever a computer with the Backup Pro software connects to the Internet, data flagged for protection is transferred automatically to the Arcplace datacenter. The datacenter is ISO 27001-certified and compliant with Swiss banking regulations (FINMA). For further protection, Backup Pro encrypts all data using state-of-the-art, 448-bit encryption technology.

In addition to the datacenters, a local storage device (i.e. USB drive or NAS) can be defined as a backup destination.
Backup Pro runs quietly and automatically in the background as you work, giving you peace of mind that your data is protected at all times. Accidentally deleted an important paragraph in your document? Don’t worry - Backup Pro can restore previous versions of your document.
Backup Pro allows you to restore your data using the Backup Pro client (scenario 1) or an easy to use web-based interface (scenario 2). Furthermore, Backup Pro allows you to restore your data using a local cache (scenario 3).

Backup Pro offers a simple management console that allows you to centrally configure and monitor the backup of your computers.
